A simple rule interior designers use: choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture below it.

• Above a 2 m sofa: 130–150 cm wide, or a set of 2–3 prints
• Above a queen bed: 100–115 cm wide
• Above a sideboard or console: 80–90 cm wide
• Above a desk or bedside table: 40–60 cm wide

Between two sizes? Go for the larger one. It almost always looks more intentional. Our size guide has more tips. You can also email us a photo of your wall with its measurements and we’ll recommend a size.

The size you choose is the size of the artwork itself. Frames are 4.5 cm wide and 3.5 cm deep, so a frame adds about 9 cm to the overall width and height. A framed 60 × 90 cm piece, for example, measures roughly 69 × 99 cm on the wall.

The White Border option doesn’t change the size, as the border sits inside the listed dimensions.

• Framed canvas: poly-cotton canvas set in a solid-wood floating frame, with a slim shadow gap that makes the art appear to float. Our most gallery-like finish.
• Framed paper: fine-art paper (soft lustre or matte) behind clear acrylic, in a wooden frame. Crisp detail and a timeless look.
• Stretched canvas: poly-cotton canvas stretched over a wooden frame. Frameless, modern and ready to hang.
• Print only: the fine-art paper print on its own, ready for a frame of your choice.

Framed options come in Black, White, Wood, Dark Wood and Gold.
